LIVING IN DIVINE HEALTH

God has made provisions for man to live in divine health through oneness with Him. Salvation is the first provision God made for divine health (2corinthians 5:17). God has given His children the life of Christ through salvation (John 1:12). Whatever could not be found in the life of Jesus Christ should not be found in the life of believers (John5:26) (1john5:11). Sickness has no place in the life of a believer.

The New Birth (Salvation) is an initiation into Divinity (psalm 82:6) (2Peter 1:1-4). The life of a true believer is the life of divinity and it is above worldly corruption: like sin and diseases. Gods word is the vaccine to every sickness and infirmity (proverbs 4:20-22). God has made adequate provision to take care of His people through His word.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is -among many things- to give life (John 6:63)(romans 8:11). The Holy Spirit is given to us by God to maintain our lives as believers. He optimizes every dysfunctional part of our bodies and rids our bodies of every pollution through sickness (Matthew 3:11-12).

OTHER MEANS THROUGH WHICH GOD HEALS:

§  The presence of God (Luke 5:17).

§  Bold Confessions of a believer (proverbs18:21) (acts14:3).

BARRIERS TO HEALING:

1) Sin (psalm 66:18) (psalm 119:11).

2) Unforgiveness (mark 11:25) (Matthew 6:14-15).

3) Bitterness

GOD WANTS YOU TO PROSPER

Prosperity is a state of no lack; where all our needs are met and we are in a position to help others. Prosperity is a situation where all we require to fulfill our God-given destiny is fully supplied. Prosperity is not a state of being full of money. It is using Gods power to meet the needs of mankind in every areas of life. It is a state of encounter with the life of God. Gods true intent is to have His children fully supplied and to be blessings to others (genesis12:2).
All resources in heaven and the earth belong to God (Psalm 50:10-12) (haggai 2:8). As our Father, God has willed all the riches of the world to His children from the time of creation (genesis 1:26-28). God created the earth for man to dominate (psalm 115:16). Man lost dominion  through deliberate sin in the Garden of Eden but God in His mercies restored dominion first to Abraham and his descendants; the Israelites(Deuteronomy 8:18), and then to all of mankind through Jesus Christ.God is happy when His children prosper (psalm 35:27). Poverty is not Gods will for His children as is widely believed. As much as the love of money is evil, money itself is part of the heritage of Gods children.
Poverty is part of the curse of the law (Deuteronomy 28:29-33,43-45) which Christ redeemed Gods children from (Galatians 3:13-14). God has designed prosperity as a means of spreading His kingdom (Zechariah 1:17). Jesus was sent to die for us to be made rich (2corinthians 8:9).God has made provision for all His children will ever need in life and all we need do is command our prosperity into being. Poverty and wealth are states of mind which reflect in the reality. God has assigned His angels to us to act on our declarations.
Obedience to Gods Word is the ultimate key to prosperity (Deuteronomy 28:1-3). Understanding Gods word brings favour; which is an essential factor of prosperity (proverbs 13:15).

WHAT IS FAITH?

Faith commits God to effect the changes we desire in life. Every believer must live by faith in God (Romans 1:17) (Galatians 3:11) (Hebrew 10:38). Faith is the lifestyle of a believer; for God is a God of Faith and so should His children be.
Faith is what moves mountains and clears oppositions and obstacles in life (Hebrew 11:31-34). Faith makes all things possible. Salvation of a sinner is achieved through faith (Romans 10:9-10) (Ephesians 2:8-9). Practicing faith as humans could be termed as a risk; but definitely not a reckless risk. Faith is the key to overcoming and to victories (1john 5:4). There is no impossibility with faith (Matthew 17:20). Faith elevates a believer to the realm of no limitations. Faith pleases God (Hebrew 11:6).
What is Faith?
Faith means the confidence of things we hope for and being convinced of things we cannot see (Hebrew 11:1). Faith is taking the unseen realm of Hope and bringing it to a reality. Nouah Webbstar Dictionary defines Faith as ‘’a simple belief of persuasion in: 1) The existence of God (hebrew11:6) 2) the character of God 3) the doctrine or Word of God’’.
Faith is belief in the fact that God is alive. It is a belief in the unique traits and quality of God; which is Love (1john 4:8). Love is the greatest character of God. God is compassionate, merciful and full of grace (psalm 145:8-9). Faith in God is an unwavering confidence in the fact that He loves us dearly. God has loved us before we were created (Ephesians 1:4) (Ephesians 3:17-19). Faith is a simple conviction in the Word of God (psalm 89:34). The Word of God is what strengthens our faith as believers (Romans 10:17).

THE REALITY OF THE SUPERNATURAL

We live in a two dimensional world made up of the natural and the supernatural. The things that happen to and around us are determined by either the natural or supernatural world.
The Natural realm: is a realm that is ruled by the operations of the five physical senses: of sight, touch, hearing, tasting and smelling. The natural world is limited and subject to the laws of time, space and matter. Miracles cannot take place in the natural realm for they take place outside the laws of time. Miracles are instantaneous. We live in a natural world bound by time but time has no effect on the realm of miracles.
The Supernatural realm: is a realm beyond the natural. It is a spiritual realm not bound by time: miracles take place in the supernatural realm. The spiritual world operates outside and above the natural world. It overrules the natural world. For a miracle to take place, the laws of nature must be overruled.
The Supernatural realm is invisible and cannot be seen with the naked eyes. It is spiritual and eternal as well (2corinthians 4:16-18). The supernatural realm is everlasting but the natural world is temporary and subject to time. Faith is the door to the supernatural world (Hebrews 11:1). Faith dominates time.
The Supernatural realm is also 2 dimensional: i) The Superior dimension controlled by God Almighty and ii) the evil dimension controlled by the devil. God is eternal being. He is immutable and can never be dethroned. He dwells and rules in eternity and His works are visible in the natural world. God is all powerful; He has supernatural abilities. The devil was created by God and is subject to the authority of God (Ezekiel 28:12-17). The devil was cast down by God when he sought to rebel against God; contrary to Gods original plan for creating him (isaiah14:12-14). The devil's supernatural realm only seeks to destroy whatever God has created (John 10:10). God has created man with a glorious destiny but satan always seeks to alter it from creation till date (James1:17) (1peter 2:9). satan brought the fall of man from walking in the supernatural-through Adams sin- and caused him to depend on his five senses.
God sent His son Jesus Christ to reconnect man to His supernatural life (John 1:12) (2corinthians 5:17). The life of God in Jesus Christ is available to those who receive Him (John 5:26). Any man who receives Christ receives the eternal life of God (1John 5:11). The supernatural life of a believer can only be activated consciously; by realization of the fact you carry the life of God. Christianity is the manifestation of God in man.

THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is showing appreciation or expressing gratitude to someone who has done you a favour. Thanksgiving to God means expressing our gratitude to Him for all He has done. It is an essential part of praise. It is the door that leads to praise. One who is not thankful cannot praise God (psalm 100:4). Thanksgiving is the key to the entrance of Gods presence. Ingratitude can deny one entrance into Gods presence (psalm 92:1) (psalm 34:1).
Thanksgiving is recommended in all situations of life (1thessalonians 5:18). A life that is full of thanks never lacks the presence of God (psalm 103:1-6). We must be conscious so as not to forget the good deeds God has done for us (psalm 78:40-44). Thanksgiving for current level is a stepping stone to greater heights. Thanksgiving to God provokes his appearance in the scene of any battle or challenge we face. God is the giver of all good things and deserves thanksgiving for all of life's achievements (James 1:17) (john 15:5).
Importance of Thanksgiving:
1) It is Gods will (1thessalonians 5:18).
2) It secures the presence of God in the life of a believer (psalm 100:4).
3) Thanksgiving provokes Gods attention (Philippians 4:6).
4) Thanksgiving brings about multiplications (John 6:11-13).
5) It brings about restoration of dead blessings (John 11:41-42).
Sacrificial thanksgiving is thanking God when all seems to work against you (Hebrew 13:15). It provokes a swift move of the hand of God in every adverse situation facing us as Christians.
